A Walk in The Tunnel

Though Rough,

Though Tough,

I'll Stay Strong.

Though Hard,

Though Stormy,

I'll Stand Tall.

Though Thick,

Though Thin,

I'll Stay Firm.

Though Dark,

Though Bleak,

I'll Shine Bright.

Through the

Darkest nights and

Every raging storm

I'll walk tall,

I will not fall,

And will not stop.

Until the light shines

Through this long

And very deep tunnel.

I COME STILL!

I come before you humbled and troubled

Torn in pieces and broken from within.

I come to you shattered and battered

Bruised and wounded with deep scars

I come to you with a heart

that is heavy and tired.

I come with no strength nor will

Badly hurt and weak from the inside.

But I come still;

I come to you because

my heart wholly trusts in you

And my soul solely depends on you.

Your love for me is so great

and I know that in you,

I will someday find healing,

hope and renewed strength.

Still Standing

Life has thrown so many curves at me, I've dodged some but many hit me right through and tore me apart. Leaving me broken and battered.

~ But against all odds, I am standing tall!

Life has knocked me down so many times. It has shown me things I never could have imagined and led me to places I never knew I would go.

~ Yet against all odds, I am still standing!

Life has shown me ugliness in its true form. I have experienced rejection, betrayal, sadness and failures.

~ But against all odds, I am still standing!

✿

Life has not only harassed me but it has haunted and hounded me. Taking me to depths I never thought I will rise from.

~ Yet against all odds, I am still standing!

Life has given me names I never would have loved  to bear and hate to bear. I’ve known reproach, hurt and pains by their true names

~ But against all odds, I am still standing!

Life has crushed me severally and ruined my dreams, hit me below the belt where it hurt the most. Sipped every strength in my veins till I was too weak to stand.

~ Yet against all odds, I am still standing!

Life has shown me the way out, but I have chosen the way in. It has thrown me to the grounds, but I have chosen to rise each time.

~ And against all odds, I am still standing!

Beaten by the Rain

Like a man beaten

by the rain

I was badly beaten

by the words

you spoke

and the ones

that you didn’t.

Lonely, wounded,

battered, confused

used, abused -

were the only words

I knew yet couldn't spell.

I hid not only tears

but the scars.

For so long

I lived

on my own tears

And no one

could console me

For I was far

too broken.

Years of desolation,

betrayals,

failed trust,

oppression,

depression,

fear of the unknown,

uncertainty

stole away

my youth

and my strength

but as I wipe away

this tear on my cheek,

I say no more,

NO more,

No more

beaten by the rain

I have found

a shelter

and

will no more

be beaten by the rain.

...To The King of My Castle

Love is a true feeling,

Which our heart must feel

Love is a journey,

Which enriches our souls.

For you my dear one, 

I would sing a love song.

Your love would be my new wine, and

It would fill my empty cup.

We’ll wake up each morning

with the joy of our love

And we’ll hope till its very end

that this joy never fades.

We’ll fight for each other

And make love till morning

We’ll stand up for one other

And kiss till the day breaks.

We’ll hold hands together

And pray like no other

We’ll dance in the moonlight

And whisper sweet nothings.

We’ll laugh thru the darkness

And share joys in daylight

We’ll strengthen one another

When life throws us down.

I’ll hold you so dearly

and with a sweet smile, 

I’ll walk a hundred miles

in the warmth of your embrace.

We’ll stare at each other

and speak unspoken words.

And you my dear angel

Will be mine forever.

And through the years, We’ll 

build our own castle, our Castle of Love

and you my dear one, will be forever,

The King of My Castle.
