When the sky is dark
And the weather is cold,
When the trees stand and stare
And the road seems long,
Always remember - That He cares.
When the pathway seems long,
And temptation is strong,
When there is no help,
And your strength is almost gone,
Always remember - That’s the time to press on.
For life has its virtues,
sometimes hidden behind dark clouds,
or beneath a broken wall,
or even wrapped in onion skins.
But come what may,
Always remember, That He cares, And so do I.
